Our Journey
Eegai Inidhu Trust was founded in the year2023 by philanthropist Dr. Dhanasekar B , with a heartfelt vision to uplift marginalized families through compassionate and sustainable social initiatives. Registered under the Indian Trusts Act, the organization began its work by offering direct support in the form of education, healthcare, and welfare services to underserved communities.
As the Trust grew, so did its mission—from providing charity to enabling self-reliance, from basic welfare to empowerment, and from short-term aid to long-term, family-focused socio-economic development.
Today, through its Family-Focused Socio-Economic Upliftment (FFSU) framework, Eegai Inidhu Trust works closely with communities, especially women-led SHGs, to implement need-based, sustainable programs that promote dignity, resilience, and inclusive growth—turning vulnerable households into thriving, self-sufficient families.
Our Evolution
From Charity → Welfare → Rehabilitation → Holistic Development, our model continues to adapt to the needs of the people we serve.
Today, our FFSU model integrates:
- Livelihood Development
- Education & Child Welfare
- Health & Hygiene
- Financial Literacy
- Housing & Sanitation
- Legal & Social Empowerment
- Support for the Differently-Abled & Elderly
- Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation
- Environmental Protection
